The Treehouse – Wraparound Care

Dear Parents and Carers,

Introducing The Treehouse – Our New Wraparound Care Club We are delighted to introduce The Treehouse, our brand-new wraparound care provision for children in Reception to Year 6 at Five Lanes Primary School.

The Treehouse will provide a safe, nurturing and fun environment for your child before and after the school day.

The Treehouse represents more than just extended hours – it is a reflection of our deep commitment to supporting families and strengthening our school community. We know that high quality, reliable care can make a real difference to family life, and we are proud to offer a space where children feel safe, nurtured, and excited to spend time. Rebuilding this provision is part of our wider commitment to meaningful family engagement, which we believe is the foundation for every child’s success and wellbeing.

Rooted in care and reaching for fun, our club offers children the chance to unwind, play, and enjoy a wide range of engaging activities in a familiar and supportive setting.

Session Times & Pricing Beginning from 02.06.2025, sessions will run Monday to Friday during term time:

- Session 1: 3.15pm – 4.15pm (£6)

- Session 2: 4.15pm – 5.15pm (£11)

- Full session: 3.15pm – 5.45pm (£15)

Children may attend one or both sessions depending on your needs. Healthy snacks will be provided during the earlier session. If your child stays beyond 5.00pm, we kindly ask that you send them with a small packed tea, which they will eat during the later session.

Please note:

- Children who are not collected on time, either at the end of the school day or beyond their booked session time, will be charged for the full next session. - If a child is collected after 5.45pm, a late collection charge of 50p per minute will apply after two prior lateness warnings have been given. This is to ensure the wellbeing of children and staff, and to maintain fairness for all families.

Important note about Session 1 (3.15–4.15pm): Children attending Session 1 of The Treehouse must go directly to the club at the end of the school day. They may not switch between The Treehouse and another after-school club on the same day. Families may choose either:
- The Treehouse Session 1 (charged at £6), or
- A school-run after-school club, which is currently free of charge.

Please note that movement between the two clubs on the same day will not be permitted.

All sessions will be led by familiar staff from our school community, creating a calm, consistent and enjoyable end to
the school day.

How to Book
To help us plan staffing and activities effectively, we kindly ask that bookings are made in good time. Please contact
Miss Becky to arrange sessions or if you have any specific requirements. While we will do our best to accommodate all families, timely communication helps us offer the best possible experience for your child.
