At Five Lanes, we are passionate about creating a nurturing environment where every child is given the opportunity to learn, grow and flourish. We are proud of our inclusive school community, where trust, respect and compassion are at the heart of all we do.

Our vision – “Working together to build a firm foundation for learning and flourishing” – guides every decision we make. Inspired by the story of the two builders (Matthew 7:24–25), we believe that a strong foundation, built on wisdom, care and collaboration, enables our children to thrive both academically and personally.

We recognise that all children are unique, and we are committed to providing a broad and enriched curriculum that supports every learner. We encourage children to discover and develop their interests and talents in a safe, supportive and inspiring environment. Spiritual development is also central to our approach, and we help children to notice the ‘glow’ in their experiences—those moments of wonder, connection and meaning—whether linked to faith or found in everyday life.

We are a school where positive relationships matter. By working closely with families, staff, governors and our wider community, we aim to ensure every child leaves us with a love of learning and the confidence to succeed.
