Monday 19th of November 2018
Today was the Lavington and Devizes cluster netball tournament - all the best teams were there and we all played each other. This meant 8 short matches, and we won 7 of these and were overall winners! We've been attending this tournament for many years, and it is very hard to win, so it was a magnificent achievement for all concerned!

This afternoon several local residents came to visit us, not only did they bring many fascinating World War 1 artifacts, they also told us many interesting real life stories about people who lived locally, and fought in the war.
As part of our 'We Will Remember' theme we have been researching our own family history, and it was great to share our own artifacts and information with these residents ,who were equally fascinated in what we had to share.

Our fantastic trip to the Tank Museum
When we got there we went into four different groups and we looked at some tanks, then we found some American WW1 clothes, which we could try on.
After lunch we went to are work shops, Elder went to Trench Life and Hazel went to learn about the terrible
WW2, in the Trench Life. Our instructor Tim told us how terrible the trenches were and then Oscar dressed up as a World War One soldier and Tim let Oscar hold a rifle.
In the WW2 work shop Tom
Music lessons
In our groups we are composing and performing.
